Hello folks! I will share another secret with you. Check out this book: Heat Transfer: Principles and Applications by Binay K. Dutta. It contains excellent theory and problems on the concepts of heat transfer. The theory is explained lucidly and all the formulae are derived in detail. There are a lot of different scenarios explained very well (including derivations of formulae) which are very important for competitive exams (JEE-Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, WBJEE etc) and which you will not find in your textbooks but might show up in your exams. Examiners have in the past set questions based on the theory and problems in the book. I would suggest going through Chapter 2: Steady State Conduction In One Dimension (in detail including worked out problems), Chapter 3: Heat Transfer Coefficient (in detail including worked out problems), Chapter 6: Boiling and Condensation (only the first part which is in your syllabus) and Chapter 7: Radiation Heat Transfer (only the first section which is in your syllabus including problems). Go through the derivations of the formulae for all the different scenarios: you might see problems which you will be required to solve using the same methods as the ones described in the book. The book is also very good for developing an excellent conceptual understanding of the material. So, I consider it a good investment.
