Answer:
Find below the items of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner that myself and my friends had on the previous day:
(i) Myself:
Breakfast: Oats with milk and bananas, toast and scrambled eggs.
Lunch: Rice, daal, saak, fish curry.
Dinner: Rotis, mixed vegetable, chicken curry.
Rice/roti, daal, vegetables is a balanced meal. Fish and chicken curry contains a lot of protein. All these items help growth. So, this is a balanced diet.
(ii) Ravi:
Breakfast: Paratha and curd.
Lunch: Fish and potato fries.
Dinner: Chicken biryani.
Chicken biryani, fish, paratha and curd promote growth. However, this diet does not contain vegetables. Potato fries is the junk food item in the diet. This diet is not completely balanced.
(iii) Anisa:
Breakfast: Cornflakes with banana, eggs.
Lunch: Pizza with coke.
Dinner: Rice, mixed vegetables, chicken curry.
Cornflakes with banana, eggs, rice, mixed vegetables, chicken curry all promote growth. Pizza and coke are the junk food items in the diet. This diet is not completely balanced.
(iv) Sachin:
Breakfast: Upma.
Lunch: Burgers and fries.
Dinner: Aloo paratha with curd.
Upma and curd promote growth. Burgers and fries are the junk food items in the diet. This diet lacks vegetables and protein to some extent and is not completely balanced.
