- Set up an electric circuit as shown in Fig. 3.2.
- Place the metal to be tested in the circuit between terminals A and B as shown.

Answer:
Aim: To place the metals iron, zinc, lead and copper between the terminals A and B of the electric circuit, observe of the bulb glows and make the necessary conclusions.
Materials Required: Iron, zinc, lead, copper, battery, bulb, switch, electric wires, clips.
Procedure:
(i) Set up the electric circuit as shown.

(ii) One by one place the metals iron, zinc, lead, copper between the terminals A and B. Note the observations and conclude.
Observations:
The bulb glows in case of all the metals.
Conclusions: Metals are good conductors of electricity.
