2. Complete Activity 6.2 (Page 71). Try to observe eggs of the following organisms – frog, lizard, butterfly or moth, hen and crow or any other bird. Were you able to observe eggs of all of them? Make drawings of the eggs that you have observed.

Frog’s eggs are clear in colour, translucent, jelly-like and present in clusters in water. Lizard eggs are white and roundish in appearance. Butterfly eggs are white, round and are present in groups on the leaf of a plant. Hen’s eggs are the largest of the bunch and are oval or white in appearance. Crow’s eggs are blue-green, contain spots and are typically laid in a crow’s nest.
