Sample Calculation for LPG:

1 kg of LPG on combustion produces 55000 kJ of heat.

1 kg of LPG costs 70 rupees.

So, 70 rupees worth of LPG produces 55000 kJ of heat.

Therefore, 1 rupee worth of LPG produces (55000 KJ/70) = 785.71 kJ of heat.
